BizEv was born from a simple frustration: finding relevant business events is hard, and buying tickets shouldn't be. Existing platforms were either too consumer-focused or too enterprise-complex. We built a platform that sits in the sweet spot — powerful enough for organizers, simple enough for attendees.

Challenge

The B2B event landscape is fragmented. Organizers juggle multiple tools for listing, registration, payments, and communication. Attendees face inconsistent booking flows, hidden fees, and no unified way to discover events matching their professional interests.

BizEv needed to serve both sides of a two-sided marketplace: a comprehensive organizer dashboard for event creation and management, and a consumer-grade discovery and booking experience for professionals — all while handling payments, refunds, and compliance.

Solution

We built a full-stack platform with two primary interfaces: an organizer workspace for event creation, ticket tiering, discount codes, waitlists, check-in, and analytics; and a public discovery engine with smart filters, calendar integration, and one-click checkout.

Payments are handled natively with Stripe Connect, enabling instant payouts to organizers. The architecture supports hybrid events (in-person + virtual), automated reminders, and post-event surveys. The design system is clean, accessible, and scales from meetups to conferences.

Outcome

Since launch, BizEv has become a go-to platform for professional events in its target markets. Organizers report significant time savings on administrative tasks, and attendees praise the frictionless booking experience.

The platform's network effect is accelerating — each event adds to the discovery engine, which attracts more attendees, which attracts more organizers. The team is expanding into new verticals with the same architecture.
